The expansion of the Maropeng Interpretation Complex will include:  Extension of the existing hotel from 24 to 85 rooms with a new spa and wellness centre, a new 5000 seat outdoor amphitheatre and the upgrade of existing Hominid House student facilities – Further upgrades to exhibition spaces, office accommodation and virtual laboratory within the Tumulus including a new café space, children’s play area and landscaping architecture.
