Create a strong social ‘heart’ for the new Science Centre and Multi-purpose Auditorium

The design establishes a strong social ‘heart’ in the form of a strong public space, flanked and defined by the large Auditorium seating 250 students and the Science classes. The centrality of this space is reinforced through clarification of pedestrian movement patterns, building use and other spatial elements to define and enclose public space. The new buildings and landscaping are consciously used to define comfortable outdoor spaces for informal meeting, socializing and gathering.
